ALEXANDRA BRUNETTI, PARTNER

Alexandra Pakzad Brunetti chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice, advising clients across the full lifecycle of their IP assets, from trademark clearance and prosecution to enforcement, licensing, and commercialization. She represents companies, entrepreneurs, and prominent individuals in complex trademark, copyright, and brand protection matters across a wide range of industries.

Alexandra counsels clients on trademark and brand strategy, manages domestic and international trademark portfolios, and advises on licensing, intellectual property due diligence, and related transactions. She also represents clients in trademark disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and in federal court.

Alexandra brings a unique perspective to her IP practice, grounded in a deep understanding of both the legal and business considerations that drive brand development and growth.  Earlier in her career, she served as a principal and key advisor to one of the world’s most exclusive luxury brands, where she led global brand positioning and strategic initiatives. That experience continues to shape her approach to intellectual property as a driver of long-term commercial value.

She works closely with the firm’s corporate and M&A attorneys on acquisitions, investments and other strategic transactions, helping companies evaluate key IP assets, mitigate associated risks and understand their contribution to enterprise value. She also regularly serves as outside general counsel, providing guidance on a range of legal and business matters.

Before joining Sklar Kirsh, Alexandra practiced in the intellectual property group of an AmLaw 200 firm, where she represented clients ranging from emerging companies and entrepreneurs to multinational corporations.

Alexandra earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from Mount Saint Mary’s University; her M.Sc., with merit, from the London School of Economics; and her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law.

As a lifelong equestrian and competitive show jumper, Alexandra draws on her firsthand knowledge of the equine industry to provide practical, industry-informed counsel on matters involving equine business and sport.
