ALEX KORETZ, OF COUNSEL

Alex Koretz is a corporate attorney with extensive experience in commercial finance and secured transactions. In addition, his practice includes representing companies across the technology industry. Having practiced at leading international law firms and held senior in-house legal positions at Meta and Amazon, Alex brings a wide breadth transactional sophistication, industry knowledge and commercial judgment to his practice.

Alex represents lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors and investors in complex commercial finance transactions, including secured and unsecured lending, leveraged acquisitions, structured financings, credit facilities, workouts and restructurings. His experience includes advising financial institutions and corporate clients on negotiating and structuring sophisticated financing arrangements, managing transactional risk and navigating complex commercial relationships.

Alex also advises technology companies, emerging businesses and established enterprises on strategic transactions, commercial agreements, technology licensing, intellectual property, artificial intelligence, privacy and regulatory compliance. Drawing on his extensive in-house experience, he offers firsthand insight into the legal and business challenges facing technology companies, including product development, commercialization, strategic partnerships and market expansion.

Before transitioning in-house, Alex practiced in the corporate and finance departments of Dechert LLP and King & Spalding LLP in New York City.
