Sklar Kirsh, LLP is seeking an experienced litigator with a strong background and focus in real estate matters to join its dynamic and growing Litigation Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Serving as first chair on complex litigation matters
  • Providing expertise for real estate transactional group and acting as an internal resource for colleagues
  • Supervising and mentoring mid-level and junior litigators
  • Developing business and working with colleagues to perpetuate and grow client relationships

Candidate Qualifications:

  • 12-18 years of litigation experience, including a strong background in real estate litigation matters (required)
  • A proven track record of generating business
  • Strong client management skills
  • Meaningful trial experience as a first chair
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Able to supervise matters throughout the entire life cycle (pre-litigation counseling, and handling litigation from inception through trial)
  • Positive attitude, team player, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys mentoring younger lawyers
