Sklar Kirsh, LLP is seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Operations Assistant to join our team. Ideal candidate will be someone interested in business administration or operations with strong technical skills and an excellent attitude.


  • Provide general operations and finance assistance to Chief Operating Officer
  • Assist with preparation of monthly and ad-hoc financial reports
  • Coordinate various Firm sponsorships
  • Assist with organizing firm events
  • Assist with drafting organizational memos
  • Manage Firm physical asset list
  • Assist with annual insurance renewals
  • Assist with calculation of quarterly origination bonuses
  • Assist with office operations and coordinating re-entry from fully-remote work
  • Assist with troubleshooting IT issues and provide backup IT Help Desk Support
  • Interact as required with Firm vendors
  • Prepare investment conflict letters and assist with Firm investments
  • Assist with ordering items for employees as needed
  • Assist with monthly account reconciliations
  • Handle Parking and Building requests (Parking cards, Access Request Forms, EOIs, Keys, etc.)
  • Assist with preparation for Monthly Firm Meeting
  • Assist with Firm award submissions

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Prior office experience or interest in business administration/operations/finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; advanced skills required (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and meticulous follow through
  • Great team player
  • Strong technical skills, fast-learner, and great with technology
  • Must have ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • High level of organizational, clerical, and writing skills
  • Must have a strong work ethic, positive demeanor, and be a practical problem solver
  • Must have an excellent attitude and maintain composure under sometimes stressful conditions


  • 40 hours/week
  • Hourly Compensation
