Yoko Ihaza is an associate of Sklar Kirsh LLP in the Real Estate Department.  Yoko has substantial experience representing borrowers, including sports franchises and investor groups, lenders (institutional banks, investment banks, life insurance companies, real estate funds, publicly traded REITs, and other financial institutions) and issuers in financing real estate acquisition and development matters.  Yoko’s practice involves a broad range of complex real estate transactions, including acquisition and sale of commercial and residential real property.

Prior to joining Sklar Kirsh LLP, Yoko was an associate in the Real Estate Group of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP and served as outside counsel and advisor to organizations within the National Basketball Association and National Football League.  Yoko brings a fresh approach to her clients and the unique challenges that they face.

Yoko received her Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University and her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School where she served as the executive editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Review. She was a recognized member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society and Black Law Students Association. Yoko is a member of the State Bar of California.
